Best-selling children's author and entertainer David Walliams has been dropped by his UK book publisher, the company has said. A spokesman for the company said: "Following a thorough review, and with the guidance of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing additional books by David Walliams." Reports indicate that the decision was reached following an review of allegations of questionable actions towards young women. The company did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "We refrain from speaking about confidential company decisions." An Illustrious Literary Career Walliams is one of the UK's most best-selling authors for kids, having sold more than 60 million copies globally in five dozen languages. The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins back in 2008. Some of his titles, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as TV movies. To date, he has released in excess of 40 works in total, encompassing a Christmas book titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins last autumn.
