A female indicted with pursuing Kate McCann apparently recorded her a voicemail message which posed: "suppose I am Madeleine?"

The defendant, twenty-four, who a jury heard has repeatedly declared she was the vanished Madeleine McCann, and her co-defendant are facing charges charged with pursuing Kate and Gerry McCann between June 2022 and February 2025.

On Monday, the court was told phone records and data recovered from phones documented Ms Wandelt persistently asking Madeleine's mother for a genetic test during the past two years.

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's recording expressed: "What if there is a small chance that I am Madeleine? Then what? Isn't that crucial for you?"

"I don't want money, I maintain a living here in Poland, I simply desire to discover," the recording stated.

The jury was told that through electronic messages, mobile messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt requested a DNA test, forwarded youth pictures to her phone in a attempt to display a likeness to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and claimed to have "memories" from a early life with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, an intelligence analyst with Leicestershire Police who compiled the evidence, told the court there "showed no any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore communicated with acquaintances of the McCanns, as per the communication logs.

The court learned the co-defendant established a relationship via internet with Ms Wandelt before joining her on a visit to the McCanns' residence in that area in December 2024.

Communication data showed Mrs Spragg had contacted using messaging service to Mrs McCann to express the media had characterized Ms Wandelt as "mentally unstable" but that she ought to be taken seriously in the time before the appearance to Rothley, the county, in last December.
